Delete Account
You can delete your Mindless account and all of its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (immediate)
1. Open Mindless and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then confirm again.
Your account and data are deleted straight away. This works on both iOS and Android.
Option 2 — By email
If you no longer have the app installed, email support@mindless.so from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, your account may be registered under an Apple private relay address rather than your personal one. In that case, please tell us the email address shown in the app under Settings so we can find your account.
What gets deleted
Your Mindless account and everything associated with it — your profile, your sign-in, all the content you created in the app (including journal entries, check-ins and intentions), and your membership of any Focus Rooms.
Your blocks, time limits and screen-time statistics are stored on your device and are removed with the app’s data.
All of your personal information is permanently deleted or anonymised.
What we may keep
We may retain specific information where we are legally obligated to — for example for fraud prevention, tax, or compliance purposes. Any data retained in this way is stripped of identifiable information and used solely for internal auditing, analytics, or legal purposes.
Once deletion is finalised it is irreversible, and your data cannot be recovered.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel it yourself through the store you subscribed with:
• Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
• Apple App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
If you delete your account while a subscription is still active, your account becomes inaccessible but billing may continue until you cancel.
If you would prefer to keep access until your current subscription period ends, email us and we can schedule the deletion for after it expires.
